Ask Ambrose

How an agent would use it in the Ambrose chat. The tool calls are the real MCP tools below; the replies are illustrative.

Who in my book needs attention before AEP?

→ medspocket_list_alerts

Three clients: Linda P.’s Medicare connection expires Oct 30, and she’s dual-eligible, so she’s worth a D-SNP review. Harold K. has spent $1,760 of the $2,100 drug cap and looks a month late on Levothyroxine. Dorothy M. started Jardiance in August; check it’s on the formulary for 2027.

Pull Dorothy’s meds and compare 2027 plans.

→ THE BRAIN · AEP crosswalk + plan comparison

Dorothy’s on H0000-001 with 5 medicines from 2 prescribers. I’ve run the 2027 comparison: her current plan’s 2027 version, plus the 3 lowest-cost alternatives that cover all 5 and keep both doctors in network. It’s ready in her review packet. I won’t text her any of it.

Questions

How does Ambrose get MedsPocket data?

Through the MedsPocket MCP server. The agency adds it in Ambrose once with its API key, and Ambrose can then list clients, pull a shared profile, and hand the drug list and current plan to THE BRAIN.

Can an agent see a client’s medicines without their permission?

No. A client has to connect their own Medicare account and separately choose to share with that agent. Clients who connect but don’t share only show a status.

Does MedsPocket text plan or drug details to clients?

No. Plan, drug and prescriber details stay in the agent’s view. Messages to clients only ever contain the invite link and scheduling.
